On Monday, March 17th my military friends and neighbors had a joint shower for my good friend, Noelle and I. The theme was green - not only because it was St. Patty's Day, but because neither of us are finding out what we're having. Since we are both having our second babies, the girls threw us a 'necessities shower.' We received lots of great 'necessities'... diapers, wipes, baby soap, baby powder, baby lotion, breastfeeding supplies, a 'diaper bag survival kit', and chocolate to name just a few things! Noelle is my friend, neighbor and my military family (our husbands work together). Her daughter, River is just 3 months younger than Andrew and now our second babies will be just weeks apart in age. Noelle is due April 7th and I'm due May 2nd.
Andrew would not smile for any of his pictures. Here he is opening a present from one of his friends! It's a Mr. Potato Head 'Spud Buds' and he really likes it. In case anyone is wondering, he fell in the driveway and scraped up his lip and arm. There was lots of blood at the time and I think Daddy took it harder than Andrew! I'm afraid it's just the first of many bumps and bruises!
The girls had a really nice spread of fruits, bagels, muffins, cheese and crackers for us. Andrew was especially fond of the spread and just helped himself to this bagel!
Here are our packages from the shower yesterday (minus the bunny decoration!). We were showered with lots of nice things to help us prepare for baby #2!
