Homecoming ... Updated

Chaz is home now for a little over 5 days, and we're adjusting nicely to him being home and us being back at our house in NC. It almost feels like he never left. The homecoming was great - although I would have liked it to be a little warmer. I hated covering up our red, white and blue ensembles with winter jackets! I haven't had much time to blog, but I wanted to get pictures up as quickly as possible. We have a lot to do in the next month or two to get ready for our move to Texas. We close on our house here this week and then Chaz and I are looking forward to spending four days in Texas next month for a house hunting trip. I'll probably post pictures again around Easter and from our trips to Ohio and Texas next month.
My mom drove back with the kids and I from Ohio to NC. We had a fun and busy couple of days settling back in before my dad and Chaz's family arrived in town for the homecoming. Including a trip to Myrtle Beach ... here we are at Broadway at the Beach... one more time before we move!! The kids did great in the car! Here's Ava on the way back from a fun day of eating and shopping in Myrtle Beach!
Ava LOVES this baby doll! It was like someone flipped a switch. When we were in Ohio, Ava played with Andrew's cars - even though she had baby dolls around and other 'girlie' toys. Ever since we got back to NC, she has been holding onto this particular baby doll and carrying/dragging it wherever she goes! We went to dinner with my parents and Chaz's family the night before the homecoming.
Uncle Jay
We walked to the helicopter so Chaz could get his things and this is pretty much how he and Andrew have looked since that day!
Junior Pilot
There was all kinds of food, balloons, slides/bouncy toys for the kids.
We celebrated Christmas in March! We saved the majority of Chaz's Christmas presents for him to open when he got home.
Spending time with Nannie before she left to go back to Ohio...
Grandma Rose and Aunt Michelle spent an extra day with us. Here Andrew is opening some Easter presents from Grandma Rose.
Both kids woke up with runny noses the morning of Chaz's homecoming... go figure! They're doing fine, but they both have little colds. Oh and the weather has been rainy, but warm and in the high 60's, low 70's!! Go figure!!
