Chaz had 4 days off from work after he got back from the deployment and 5 half days. We have definitely made the most of our time together. These pictures were taken last Saturday at the aquarium in Carolina Beach. Andrew has been there several times, but this was Ava's first trip. We packed a picnic and when we couldn't find an easily accesible picnic table, we decided to eat in the van, or 'bus' as we like to call it! Here we are sitting in the parking lot after lunch, feeding the seagulls. I don't know who had more fun... Chaz or the kids?! Someone else must have liked our idea because another car pulled into the spot on the other side of the seagulls and were doing the same!
Just inside the aquarium... not sure what was so funny at the time, but it sure looks like maybe Andrew is laughing because Ava is going to be the alligator's next meal! Just kidding... he's too young and still loves her way too much to think like that!
