Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! We were so happy to be able to share this special holiday with our families in Ohio this year. We were especially happy to have Chaz home with us. One week is not enough time to see all the people we'd like or do all the things we'd like to do while we're here. We're making the most of our time and squeezing in as much as possible though!

Most of our family was able to meet and be together for a brief visit Christmas day. As the family is growing, it's getting harder to get everyone together. We were sad that we didn't get to see cousins Jaclyn, Anthony, Ethan, and Ryan.
We visited Great Grandpa R at Summerville.

Her zhu zhu pet hamster got stuck in Mommy's hair!! There's a warning on the box that states not to put the hamster by your hair because there's a chance of entanglement. Well, I picked up Ava and she squeezed the hamster 'on' and it got caught in my hair. My mom wasn't able to get it out because as she held it, she squeezed the back and it kept 'eating' more of my hair, getting closer to my head, making it more difficult (and painful) to get out. My dad tried getting it out, but was only successful after he used a knife to cut it out!! We're all able to laugh about it now. Of course, Ava wants NOTHING to do with the hamster now!
Great Uncle Steve and Great Aunt JoJo had Christmas dinner with us and spent quality time with the kids putting together puzzles with Andrew and playing baby dolls with Ava.
