With all the moves Chaz and I have made and all of the homes we've lived in and people we've met, we have been truly blessed to have been surrounded by great people and neighbors. We keep in touch with all of our neighbors, who are also our friends, from California, Florida and North Carolina. Pensacola has been our favorite duty station and we were so happy to have the opportunity to go back and visit last week. We ate at Hemingways (one of our favorite restaurants on Pensacola Beach) with our friends and old neighbors.
Even though it's been almost five years since we left Florida, not much had changed among old friends! We're hoping to not let another five years go by before our next visit!
A trip to Gulf Breeze/Pensacola would not be complete without a trip to our condo. We're fortunate to have great renters, however the goal is to have a place to stay when we visit in the future.
One of Chaz's and my favorite things to do when we lived in the condo was to walk the dogs and feed the turtles at the lake. So I naturally wanted to take the kids for a little walk to see if we could find any turtles. It was a little chilly and we didn't see any turtles, but we did see some ducks!
