Houston Rodeo March 17, 2011

 On our way into Reliant Stadium for the Houston Rodeo!  It was 80 degrees and too sunny for a picture!

 The kids were really excited that they were tall enough to ride the bumper cars!  Here they are patiently waiting in line and watching all the kids on the ride!

 Although Ava was tall enough to drive her own bumper car, she wanted to go with her big brother.

 Andrew had a lot of fun... Ava, not so much!  

 Taking a snack break (doesn't matter that we were only at the rodeo for 15 minutes at this point)!

 Mommy, being pregnant, couldn't ride the rides with the kids... so Daddy squeezed his long legs to fit into this tea cup ride! 

 Everyone had fun!

 Too noisy! Watching big brother ride the roller coaster. After 2 rides, Ava was done!

 The smaller slide was sooo much fun that the kids wanted to ride the bigger one... Daddy didn't object!

  At the petting zoo.  We didn't think that the animals would want to eat after seeing how many people were there feeding them.  Boy, we couldn't have been more wrong!  A hungry goat greeted us at the gate and took the whole ice cream cone filled with food right out of Andrew's hand!  Good thing we were able to buy more inside!

 Ava warmed up and fed some of the greedy goats!

 This one climbed right up on Chaz's leg!

 Baby deer, goats, llamas, chickens, and pigs roamed around a large petting zoo/feeding area.  There were also some wallabies and ducks!

 There was not one kernel left on either of the kids 'roasted corn-on-a stick'!!  

 Andrew tried his hand at a couple of games... 

 and won his very appreciative sister a prize!!  This child has the biggest heart!  We had no idea that he was playing the game to win his sister a prize, until he turned around with this stuffed animal and gave it to her!  He picked out a little bull that they named 'cutie'!

 Inside the rodeo... it didn't matter that we were in the LAST row... we still had fun!  We watched lots of competitions and lastly the Zac Brown Band, which was AWESOME! 

 Without a nap, Ava didn't make it up for much of the actual rodeo.
