Ava's six weeks old this week and she is doing great! We've still been having some gas and spitting up issues, but I'm working on finding out what's causing it so that I can give her some comfort and relief. It's hard to believe in just one week that Andrew will be turning two! It's unbelievable how fast time goes! Everyone says it, but you don't realize how true it is until you have children.
My two children have kept me super busy while Chaz is away for training. If you're interested in seeing what he's been up to, google '26th meu, indiana.' We miss him, but he'll be home real soon. To our surprise he came home yesterday for one night. Andrew and I were very excited to see him (to say the least)! Yesterday we picked up my friend Paula from the airport and I am super happy to have her company and help this week.

Paula meeting Ava

Daddy's home and he has a present for Andrew and Ava...
check out their pink and grey ch-46 helicopters!
Daddy and Andrew (who does not like posing or sitting for pictures these days) with his helicopter
Ava's first bottle
Ava's 6 weeks old on Friday and this is the age that Chaz gave Andrew his first bottle
She took the bottle like a pro and easily drank down 3 ounces of milk and burped for Chaz
(who declared he is now a better mommy than me!
I'd like to challenge him to a day in my shoes :)
Getting a little help from big brother

Multi-tasking... reading to Andrew, feeding Ava a bottle and giving some attention to Sierra!

Look at those big BLUE eyes!
Now that Chaz has fed Ava her first bottle... Ava will be enjoying many more bottles!
Here she is this afternoon guzzling down another 3 ounces from Paula!
