Halloween

Halloween was a three day affair at our house.... On Thursday Andrew had a Halloween party with his pre-preschool class! On Halloween the kids got dressed up and our family went to my sister and Aaron's house for a party with Aaron's family. Then the day after Halloween we caught up with different family members to remember this time at home and took more pictures of the kids in their costumes. Aaron's little boy, Justin, is 3 and we get together whenever we can to let the boys play. Andrew had a lot of fun trick or treating and filling his pumpkin bucket up with candy. He wouldn't say 'trick or treat' but said 'thank you' to everyone who gave him a piece of candy. He was proud of himself and made sure to tell me, "Mom, I said thank you" at every house! Seniors were allowed to dress up for Halloween at school and Joey was a nun. Pretty funny! The teachers were calling him 'Sister Mary Joseph'. I wonder what the REAL nuns thought of his costume?! Our little pumpkin's first Halloween! Shrek is one of Andrew's favorite movies and characters. Andrew loved dressing like Shrek! Posing with mommy and the pumpkin Andrew picked out at Patterson's Farm.... I had no problems getting a picture with Ava... ... getting one with JUST Andrew proved a little more difficult! Aunt Ashlie, Aaron, Justin and Andrew Aunt Ashlie, Uncle Joey, Ava and Andrew Fireman Justin and Shrek Nannie and Ava Nannie, Ava and Andrew Papa, Ava and Andrew Auntie Weezie with Andrew Auntie Weezie and the curious pumpkin! Uncle Stevie, Ava and Andrew Aunt JoJo and Uncle Stevie with the kids Trick or Treating with Uncle Joey Aaron pulled the kids in the wagon when their pumpkin buckets got too heavy to carry or when their legs were too tired to walk! Back at Auntie Ashlie's and Aaron's house, going through the candy from trick or treating.
