Happy Father's Day to all the dads!! We took advantage of the beautiful weather and spent some quality (family) time together at the zoo. We started the day very early with a long overdue family portrait. From there we went to the zoo, ate PF Chang's take-out, Chaz and my dad opened their presents and we topped the night off with some ice cream cake from DQ!

Ava (who did not take either of her two naps today) loved looking at the animals. Everyone took a turn showing her something! Here she and daddy are looking at the monkeys.

In honor of father's day, there were all kinds of farm and construction equipment that the kids could climb on. We met up with Aaron, his son, Justin, and Aaron's parents at the zoo. Here the boys are with their hats on and Justin is taking a turn driving the John Deere.
