We made it!

Hello! Just wanted to share that we made it to College Station, TX last night. It was a long two days (20+ hours) in the car, but we are happy to have made it safely to this hot hot state! The kids really enjoyed looking for the cows out their car windows and there are so many in this area, that it kept them busy for quite awhile. Even though we told Andrew we were in Texas, he still continues to ask when we'll be in Texas! It's a lot for a little guy to understand. We've come to the conclusion that he thinks our house is called 'Texas' so we'll just continue to refer to our house as our 'Texas'! He hasn't asked about being in Texas since he saw the house last night. I took several pictures on our journey here and of course have a million stories and will post them when we get settled.... which could be awhile. We have the walk through today and hope to find our way to San Antonio later for a couple days of fun. Until then, here are a couple 'funnies' from our trip... Driving, Chaz told Andrew we were in Cincinatti and he said, 'where's Nannie?' We got to the hotel in Jackson, Tennessee and found out that they were out of cribs... the four of us and two westies shared a king size bed... Ava not being in a crib meant that neither Chaz nor I got a great night of sleep... but she slept well! Our first half hour at the hotel in Texas, we met a woman and her children who were teaching us about the different types of cattle. They're here showing their 'brahman' cows at a Texas A&M fair. Love, Allison
