The Latest

We continue to do well and are preparing for the latest changes in our household.  I accepted a job offer yesterday and am going back to work FULL-TIME at a local hospital!   Chaz's mom will be coming for her scheduled visit this month and was nice to change her ticket to stay longer and help us with babysitting while I'm in orientation.  I'll be working on a med-surg floor, weekend nights (Fri, Sat, Sun mostly) and therefore the kids will always be with either Chaz or I.  It's going to be a big adjustment, but a necessary one as we make our plans for the future.  I still plan on updating the blog as often as possible and my goal is to post once a week.  This is the first weekend Chaz has had off in the past two weeks and one of my last before starting my new job!  With that said, we're off to squeeze in some fun in Houston!
Little Miss Independent fed herself yogurt at dinner and this was the result.  Little Miss Impatient doesn't like waiting for you to help her out of her high chair so she stands up to make sure you fly to her!!
UP... PLEASE!!!!!
Mommy and Ava have been enjoying our time together when big brother is at school. Ava was really into coloring as you can see!
Andrew showing off the new toy shelves in his bedroom.  We're still waiting for his headboard to be delivered. The delivery guys dropped it while it was on the truck to be delivered last week... oops!  In the meantime we're picking out the perfect blue paint for his walls, picked up a set of cars sheets and have been looking for tractor/cars/trucks decorations!  Andrew is so proud of his room!
Hugs...
and a kiss from Ava.
The kids both had colds a couple weeks ago and just when I thought we were on the mend, I got sick.  I'm happy to report that we're all better now!  Here's a picture of Ava resting on her buddy, Zoey.  Poor kid is getting her molars and I know she's in pain.  I'm hoping that once all her teeth come in, she's going to go back to being my happy, sweet little girl!
