Chaz had the opportunity to be a 'guest coach' at the Texas A&M/Oklahoma football game this weekend. It was a unique opportunity with many perks... last week he went to watch the team practice, at the game he was introduced on the 'jumbotron', was on the field when the team ran out, was invited to eat at the VIP tent, and they were given really good seats to watch the game. He was allowed to bring one guest and so it was an easy choice for him to ask our friend, Ryan, a fellow marine pilot and friend, to be his guest. Here's Chaz, his coworker and friend, Stu, and Ryan at the football game on the field.

President Bush is a big fan and supporter of Texas A&M. His presidential library is in College Station.

President Bush had a short conversation with Chaz about the helicopter that he flew in the marines. The guys had a lot of fun and I was happy that I got to spend a little time with Pam (Ryan's wife) and kids while the guys were at the game. I worked Thurs, Fri and Sat nights, but happily gave up sleep on Saturday to visit and go to lunch with Pam and the kids. Andrew and Ava loved playing with their friends and we can't wait to make plans to see them again - soon! Thanks Ryan and Pam for the pictures!!
