Our poor Andrew has been sick the past couple days with a fever and runny nose. I knew something was up when he was asking to take a nap yesterday, but was real cranky, asked for ice for his ear and just couldn't rest. I took him to the doctor's this morning and he was diagnosed with an ear infection. Not just any ear infection though... the doctor said it's a very painful and more unusual type (caused by a certain type of bacteria) that causes blisters to form on the eardrum. Poor guy is in a lot of pain and is absolutely miserable. Doesn't help that he won't take his medicine and when we forcefully get some in him, he gags and throws it up. It's gonna be a long couple of days!
Passed out at 6pm ... doesn't want to eat and just wants mom to hold him.
After getting some tylenol in him, he felt well enough to share his blanket, pillow and couch space with the girls ... and to take this picture of them!!
