Andrew and Nannie planted pumpkin seeds. To our surprise they grew almost overnight!

Andrew and Daddy planted 6 of the 10 pumpkin starter plants in our garden. We are hopeful that we'll be able to grow our own pumpkins in time for Halloween. At the rate things grow here, we may have a pumpkin (hopefully 2) by the end of summer!!

We waited for daddy to come home from NC to pull this cucumber from the garden. We ate it that night and it was delicious! We have had so much luck with our cucumber plants and it's such a good family project, that we are thinking about expanding the garden next year. We've also had some luck with our strawberry plants, however, the strawberry doesn't have much of a chance once Ava sees it!! Chaz says we'd starve if we had to rely on our farming skills. We're much better suited for hunting for sales and gathering our food from the local Kroger Supermarket!

Anything Andrew does, Ava must do and vice versa. Here it was Andrew's turn to hold the cucumber for a picture!
