Our first 'official' day off for spring break, we took a trip to the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory in the little town of Brenham, Texas. It was about an hour drive from the house and the perfect day to take a tour indoors! The weather was drizzly and cool (not by Ohio standards) but for Texas. We had lunch and then a lot of fun learning how the ice cream is made at the factory. We weren't allowed to take cameras along with us on the tour so we took a few pictures eating our ice cream after the tour.
Everybody (kids included) got a cup of ice cream at the end of the tour. To my surprise, there were about 10 different flavors to choose from. We each sampled a different one... Andrew had strawberry, Ava had cookies and cream, I had 'candy jar', and Chaz had 'caramel turtle fudge'. They were all delicious! Needless to say, we are real big fans of Blue Bell now :)
Ava thoroughly enjoyed her cup of ice cream!
