We babysat a week ago for our friend, baby Claire. Ava thinks that Claire is her personal, real-life baby-doll! We didn't know it, but Claire had been exposed earlier that week to a bad stomach virus and got sick the day after we watched her. Which brings me to my next picture....
Chaz was officially accepted into Texas A&M's Graduate School, we got his acceptance letter this week. He'll earn a masters of public service and administration. To celebrate, we went out to dinner to a very nice restaurant. We were almost through with dinner and as I was taking Ava from her highchair, she threw up all over the floor. Then she threw up another two times! I fortunately had two shirts on and was able to take off her top and put one of my tops on her (pictured above). We left immediately for home, where she threw up 3 more times. She's had diarrhea a couple of times, but seems to be back to herself today. Poor baby!! I was also nauseated and sick that first night/second day with her and Chaz has been sick last night and today. In fact, he's feeling so bad that he took his second sick day in 11 years!!
On a good note, Andrew has stayed healthy! Actually, he's quite the big brother and little helper while we've all been under the weather. He's getting pretty good at writing his name and he likes to draw and color. Here's a picture he made of a t-rex dinosaur!
UPDATE: I spoke too soon! Andrew woke up from his nap throwing up. This has been some 'bug.' Pray for us!
