Our first rodeo experience! Houston is a huge city and this rodeo was way bigger than we could have imagined! It started at 7am and went until midnight. We underestimated how big the crowds would be, but we should have known because all the schools here in Houston and the surrounding area are on spring break. This picture doesn't do justice to show how far away we had to park or how large the rodeo was.
Inside the carnival area the kids couldn't wait to get their hands on an ear of corn!! They love corn and they both did a number on their corn on the cob.
Inside the rodeo we had AWESOME seats!
We were on the jumbotron a handful of times!!
There's a concert every night after the rodeo and we got to see Gary Allan. We didn't make it for the whole concert, but we were thankful that the kids made it as long as they did (10pm).
Just before we left the rodeo... thank goodness mommy brought these suckers to help 'stretch' our time there with the kids. Everyone is still smiling :)
so fun - my boys would love:)
