Ohio

Our good friends Mario, Paula and their sweet baby girl, Gabby came to visit us from Columbus. It was a short visit, but we will take any time we can get with our friends! Ava loves her baby dolls and loved the chance to 'baby' Gabby and give her pacifier (and take it away, and give it to her again, ....)

The kids have really enjoyed playing in the sand box!

Uncle Dude collected a whole bunch of tadpoles from a local pond. The kids have really enjoyed watching them and seeing the different stages that the tadpoles/frogs are in!

What would a trip home be without a trip to Lake Farmparks??? Funny thing is that we see cows and horses all over the place in Texas, but we don't get up close to them like we do here! We LOVE that place!

We watched the milking demonstration in the 'dairy barn' and Andrew wanted to milk 'Brenda' the cow, up until it was his turn! Brenda is 1300 pounds and is pregnant. We could see the baby calf move in her belly while we watched the demonstration!

Miss Independent wanted to push her baby in the stroller!

As usual, we play hard and keep a very busy schedule while visiting in Ohio. Here are Miley and Andrew passed out!!

My little girl likes bugs... thank you Daddy and Andrew... here she is playing with a potato bug!

First they were looking for potato bugs in the pile of mulch, then they climbed it!

This is how Andrew felt about getting dirty and playing in the mulch! Thanks Uncle Dude and Papa for the great idea! Thank you Nannie for being super good at getting dirt and stains out of new clothing ;)

Three of Mommy's good friends from grade school came over for pizza and to play. Three of the boys (Andrew, Jack and Johnny) are all 3... turning 4 this summer/fall. It was a lot of fun and the boys became fast friends (Ava is the only girl in the group)! Only wish we could see these guys more often.
